16v (13b?) engine ever sold in the USA?

Just curious - did that engine ever feature on this side of the pond, maybe in those funny geo-metro things? :?
Or did they actually market the swift out here? I don't remember seeing one...

Yep, they had the Suzuki Swift GT w/ the G13b 16v DOHC motor. Alot more common than you'd think, actually. Check out teamswift.net.
I believe that motor did find it's way into the metro for a couple years, but I could be mistaken on that one and I'm not sure what the trim level was.
