thought i'de start a diary for my project, it started when i was given a 1975 clubman for nothing about a year and a half ago, originally i intended to use a turbo a series and started collecting parts, then a bit of a crisis happened a year ago in november putting the whole thing on hold. now its time to get back underway.
after some thought i decide that it may be a better idea to use a more modern engine which can produce reliable power. hence the choice of a vtec.
i have sold most of the turbo related parts to make more funds for the project.
heres some random pics of the (not much) progress.

i have also got a megasquirt built so i will hopefully be able to get it working on my engine.
today i built my new engine crane ready for some work, (frame should arrive soon hopefully)
and i also labelled and removed the wiring loom from the engine, hopefully i will be able to start working out how to wire the megasquirt into it.
thats all for now

made some progress now, front subframe removed and stripped, just need to recon the top arms and get some new cones, then can start building up the allspeed frame.
also removed all the windows, and have the rear of the car up on stands ready for rear subframe removal (still got work out how the hell i am going to manage it with about a foot of free space around the back of the car!!! (its now facing the other way from in the picture)
next job is to clear all the un-needed shite out and try and make some space in there, can any one do magic??
more updates as and when
