Weight and steering

Hey Guys,
those of you lucky enough to be driving completed cars, what all up weight did they end up at after the conversion?
Does moving the front wheel centre line forward to clear the steering rack alter the steering geometry at all?

I suppose it all depends on the rest of the car, but i recently had mine weighed at 730 kgs, which is about normal for a Sportspack. I have removed a lot of the wiring, seats, sound deadening and stuff, but nothing drastic.......

Geometry is all dependant on the kind of subframe you intend to use, so don't know really....

not a major increase over the original weight, I need to get as much info as possible before going to an engineering signatory prior to starting the build.

I intend to build my own frame and use the original suspension with coil over shocks.

How far fwd did you have to move the centreline of the front wheels, and did you end up widening the track at all?
