Hi all
My name is Vic, I work at Hayling garage opposite Hayling Minis factory. I have become good friends with Jerry & his son James, last weekend I went to Santa Pod with them. Had a fantastic time & caught the Mini bug, so I decided to build a Clubman estate similar to Jerry's awesome van.
Picked up an unfinished Justy Turbo project & started to strip it with James yesterday.

On close inspection the Justy has some serious rust, so better order up a bulk load of cutting disks, welding wire & gas.

LOL, Vic's will be built with all the lessons we learn t doing mine, I have been round with the marker pen:D

if i was doing it again , i would shorten the floor pan as well :)

I would get the Mini body lower & do the bulkhead differently :D

you might stuggle to get the body lower , you will have to cut away the justy sills ....anything is possible .. just watch the strength

LOL, get in the garage & get that Spaceframe done, we can see how easy it is to shorten the running gear then:)

Yes Marcus, you are right. It is getting that way but that's we are.
Making classic Mini modern in any means!

Still can't believe how fast Jerry's mini is and there will be more(space frame, this one) soon. Never know Jerry might go with his original G13B mini tobe 4WD as well! so there could be 4 in the future.

I think I better search LSDs for them now!

The 4 door appears to be 100mm longer than the 2 door, were are the pics on your build. Or are you keeping us all in suspense:D

I dont have any yet just a car but it wont be long.
I am busy building frames for solar panels so that my new sponsor can come and do his business.
I will need to cut about 200mm from the Justy floor pan ?

200mm would be good for the Estate, still think you will need an extended Clubman front though, hurry up & get the Solar bits sorted;)

Unfortunately Vic has decided against finishing this, the Justy really was rotten so it has now been scrapped & all the bits added to our parts store:)

LOL I have the same experience with women, they are all over me desperate for sex. It is at this point I normally wake up & bang my head on the alarm clock;)

On the west side of the pond we didn't get these branded Subaru. We did get them as Suzuki (of course), Chevrolet Sprint, and Geo Metro. I don't recall any AWDs but maybe I just missed them.

They are easy to miss as they look identical except for a small sticker saying AWD.
