I know I'm getting well ahead of myself but I cant help checking out the ringmini site once in a while and grinning wildly at the idea a 4x4 Mini especially as my two other cars are both 4wd and I love the traction advantage it gives :twisted: !!
I've tried unsucessfully to find out much about the Shuttle 4x4 system, some people say its electronically controlled only giving 4wd when its switched on but the ringmini tranny is supposedly a 6 speed permenant 4x4 (switched on all the time perhaps ??)
Does anyone have any knowledge about this system or can point me towards a friendly honda info source/forum in the UK (ie knows specs available in UK) that might be able to clear up some of the questions I have.
Do you know of anyone else who has built or is building a 4x4 vtec ?
I did speak to Geoff at Watsons a while back but he hadn't built one although he had a 4x4 electronic tranny which he hadn't looked into much.
