I HAVE REGISTERED FOR THE NEW DEWS CLUB SPEED SERIES FOR SPRINTING & HILLCLIMBS - IT COVERS A WIDE VARIETIES OF CLASSES WITH SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE FROM BEGINNERS TO THE MORE EXPERIENCED . I AM GETTING MY CAR UP TOGETHER & HOPE TO BE OUT IN MAY - THIS MAY INTEREST LOTS OF YOU AS IT DOES NOT MATTER WHERE YOU ARE BASED YOU JUST JOIN & REGISTER WITH THE CLUB , THEN SEND IN YOUR RESULTS . HAVE A LOOK www.dewsc.org.uk I THINK THIS COULD BE A GOOD WAY TO HELP PUT 16V MINI'S ON A BROADER MAP , WHAT DO YOU THINK ? I FOUND THEM VERY HELPFUL ... LIKE TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS AS I AM NEW TO ALL THIS .

Caps are just harder to read thats all - oh and in text and forums it tends to mean you are shouting ;)
Anyway, have you been in touch with the guys over on retrorides? Seem like their cup of tea aswell?
cheers

I 'm a member of the DEWS Club/Speed Series and have just done a hillclimb at Wiscombe Park and a sprint at Clay Pigeon a few weeks ago, both very good fun. They are a welcoming and knowledgeable club and are keen to attract new members and to have a go, whatever's under your bonnet.

I have a few questions regarding the "Speed Series"...
Is DEWS an MSA registered club?
Is the championship MSA approved?
These questions will do for now......

Yes they are MSA registered, not sure about second question but would assume yes, being as they are MSA registerd. I'm new to this.

I asked as there is no MSA championship permit number quoted on the championship entry form.
