View Full Version : Brake Pedal mods for Watsons frame ?
I seem to remember reading somewhere that you have to modify the brake pedal to clear the repositioned steering column, is this true ?
If so how have people done this ?

All I did on mine was cut it in two places and moved the piece I cut out further out to clear the colum - then welded spacers to fit.

Heres what I did to mine. (K series, but obviously same frame & rack)
Basically I bent the pedal round, and welded in an extra bit to add the length that the bend takes out. The welded section is under where your foot goes. Decided that would be preferable as its under less pressure than the pivot end.
