they r just 9 inch sills . i roll the mini over on a mattress so its not to bad . and i love lookin at my wall whist workin all ways puts a smile on my face . plus its funny when customers come in and have a laugh about it . lol .

they r . i drill the sill two inch apart with a 8mm holes weld . them seam weld all around them seam seel all over . been weldin for 6 years , restorin cars since i was 15 . lol . so love it . now doin it for a livin . so all good good .

u pol stone chip in gray . i used 3lt of it in gray . then used 2lt of black primar all over the stone chip . goin to try and make it look like a (sleeper) / ruff and ready . if u know wot i meen . make it look like an old mans car . lol . i am goin for a mat look full car . with a shine black roof wheels will be mat insides and shine rims . and maybe a carbon clubman front end . if i have any money left . lol .

No... the hinge you see is for the bonnet. It looks like it is located under the scuttel panel. between the windshield and the hood!

yea . had the front drive flages change so i can use mini wheels . goin to see how it handles with these . then can all way up grade to any mini pcd wheels r any metro pcd wheels . goin to try and make it look like a starderd clubman as much as poss . lol . well apart from the roll cage and wheels . everything else should be standerd lookin .

You do realise you are going to need custom made 6-8 inch wide arches using those wheels ? Sportspack arches are 3.5 inches wide - they wont look very "standard" :)

Does the fuel lines need to run behind the rear subframe like on the original setup for MOT purposes? Or doesn't it matter?? I dont know

It appears not - see MoT manual linky (http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_720.htm). At the end of the day if your rear subframe is falling off, I'd hazard a guess that a little bit of spilt fuel will be the least of your concerns! :D

matt the red bracket is for the rear diff mount on a watsons subframe kit . the rad bracket is wot u need to make yr self to bolt the bracket to the floor of the mini . where in chorley r u pal ? will pop round for a brew and have at yr work .

Those wheels are really protruding way way out side of your car, It seems your car width is not a Mini anymore .I would suggest get alloys that are not that off set or for modern FWD cars.;)

got it running agian . found out that an earth wire had come off the alarm . so replaced it and started it up again . now the fuel warning light stay on all the time . any ideas y .?. iam usin a mpi fuel pump and it was workin fine at around 3 bar .

Been over to the Nurburg ring . Was great fun . Wen with my mate Gary he had a jap import integra and Lee in his mg , went two Nurburg ring for 3 day then beer fest for 2 day .

Had a play with a fuel tank today . Chopped the filler head off it and hammer it abit . Fits in nice now in the rear wheel arch . Just need to re weld the filler neck . Then make a fixing bracket to hold it in to place .

Are these wheels staying now or are they temporary? Are you getting them spacered or changing the arches as the rears seem a bit tucked in, pictures also make the front sitting quite high

I reckon it'll be quicker if you take the stickers off :lol:

No not staying on . Was just testing handling ect . Goin to get sum 14 by 7 compromotive White wheels with 195 / 45 / 14 Tyres . Just need to find the wheels gett sum new Tyres on um the set ride hight bolt archers back on . Will get on with it asap .

These wheels work lot better . More top end and quicker on the corners . So can keep the speed up more . compared to my 13 by 7 deep dishes wheels .

set the hi lows all around . 2 inch lower at rear . 1inch 3/4 front . new fitted wheel arches . fitted new mgf lower ball joints , new track rod ends . front wheel bearings . and took in to get lazer lined today . all good .

Does it feel better. When you ordered the parts did you need a part-number

yea more camber and caster with the mgf . then the gti/gta one . i just went into the place i normal get my parts for cars i work on . told um wot i had and wot i wonted to do . they gave me there parts catalogs . found them easy anuf . and they had everything in stock at the shop . apart from cv boots . so had to use my old ones . ' could not be bothered waitin 2days for new ones ' lol . alot better driving . and corners r lot better . only took me 30mins to strip one side and re build it . just make sure you have a good drill bit to get the rivets out .

after sortin out the hi los . thort i would put the rear mud flaps on and give the car a quick wash . first time this year . well its a sunny day so might as well wash it . =}

Not the best pics . 102 mph in 4th gear . 180 bhp . 105 torque . 8710 rpms . Not bad to say the clutch was slipping . First run had to be cancelled Coz clutch would to let me engage 3rd . But good old rob work sum magic . Lol .

Its a GTM Rossa - fibreglass kit car that uses a Mini's front subframe both at the front and the rear, A Series engine in the back. That particular one has a Metro Turbo engine in it.

fook me . just got the vtec mini back from my mums . bloody for got how quick it is . its not move for 6 mouth and started up first time . just need to cheek the brakes . did not feel to good going around the s bends . ;) :) :)

Had sum fun this afternoon . Noticed the exhaust blowing . And alternator was lose . Ow the fun . Started at just a 20 min job swapping gasket and tightening bolts up on alternator . Nope 2:30 mins later . I snapped 1 bolt off and 2 was all ready gone . So had to weld a bolt on to the snapped of bit that was flush to the block and snapped inside block . Fun ;) . And same with the alternator . Bolt had sheared against the block . So had to drill it out and re thread up to next size up . :) but all done now . Drives nice and sounds better too . Must of added an extra 5hp too . Lol .
