I'm having some Carbon parts made for my car including Vtec Plug cover. Its going to cost me about £ 90 to make the mould so thats an expensive 1 off unit. I know they are available else where but the only nice ones are over £ 100 each. I've had 2 cheep ones and not been happy (£40 ish).

So if I were to tool up and make a few does anyone want a carbon plug cover? Possibly be able to do colours as well like red and blue or kevlar :D
Cost would be approx £ 30-40 each but very high quality. lets put it this way, if I'm happy with them so will you be

Also if anyone wants a 60mm extended bonnet I have a very high quality mould so can make either carbon kevlar or Fibreglass units from it.

Let me know if anyone wants other bits made,I might be able to do something.

Also having a new style Front grill made, Will post pics once I'm happy with the look (fits Mk1 bonnets only or modded MK3/4)

Great idea,

I wouldnt mind a carbon look cover. Also would have had an extendid front if I didnt have the one I have now!

I will buy one if you make em mate.

I have a mate who would probably have one two - so make that 2 4 me.

Yeh - try selling them on E-bay - might make a few quid a week.

I'm going to see them tomorrow about some other bits.

I'll get them to make 1 and see what its like (just so Im happy). Then maybe do 10 more With that number I'm sure the costs will be very good. 16V mini club discounts others will have to pay more :D

I'd definately get one, the Honda boys would love em( if they are GOOD) they usually pay £70ish

I'd need to see it first however, as I got a load of stuff off curleys and it wasn't great :(

Is it a pukka one or a carbon look/cover to the cover if you get me? :?

B20GT,

They are real carbon not fake S**T. Quality will be good or I'm not bothering. The other bits I have seen are superb and have a deep shine on them (very 3D).

Like I said I'll do the first and post some pics up then you lot can decide if they are worth it or not

Mikeb,

Your cover was a sample.
The next are going to be better. I hope

If you want a 60mm exteneded bonnet then cost will be about £ 100 in carbon, We havent sorted out the inside frame yet its a bit of a pig to do, and of cource another mould is needed so might just laminate a frame in by hand.
For other sizes we would have to make a mould from a good bonnet that someone here has extended then split the cost of making the mould. I ended up making a pattern, a mould and a sample bonnet (white one) total cost was over £ 400

Ahh the joy of 1 off's
