gear box oil

hi all is there any other way to fill the gear box on a 1.4K other than the way it says in the manual :?: :?:

how does it say to do it in the manual? and whats wrong with that way?

Usually you can either fill a gearbox through the level checking hole, jsut fill it up till oil spills out. Or if theres a breather on the top you can fill it through that. Cant remember what the R65 boxes have as im using a pg1

says to fill through the level check plug till it over flows. but if its anything like my car everythings as tight as a sharks arse and theres no chance of filling that way! i just took the dust cap thing off the breather on top of the box and pored the oil in there, should still take the plug out the side though to make sure you dont overfill, and vent the box, seeing as your filling through the vent.
