Be a while before that becomes an affordable engine transplant option, but useful to know.

Be interested how they get the increased capacity, the liners on the 1600/1800 engines are mighty thin.

From what I've read elswhere, the liners are siameased (sp?) so they are in a figure 8 sort of formation (2 off), so the block is not strictly the same. As a result the heads are slightly different too.

Yeh but the main thing is we already know it will be just a straight stap for a 1.4 16V :D
