I'm looking for a reasonably priced B16\B18 engine, gearbox, manifolds, wiring loom and ecu. Or possibly a reasonably priced accident damaged donor.
Must be in the west coast of Scotland, roughly Glasgow area would be handy.
Also, has anyone got a cheap full rollcage for sale?
If anyone has such items for sale or knows of someone who has, please let me know. Want to get this VTEC project started before I grow old :?
Cheers

Yeah Kev, There are a few on the CRX forum, but they are all down south, have you tried jap auto's in glasgow, an accuaintance of mine stacked a jap import EG sir II (170 hp unit) but i aint had a reply as to weather or not he'll sell her, he is a mini fan aswell, and has one, so he might just use it himself :( I'll get back to you, What is your budget? and a guy in the back of the mini mags sells cages for £110-140, but they aint safety devices :D Scott G

I'm not bothered about a proper SD's rollcage, I don't care what anyone says - You dont get what you pay for, you pay for the name normally... Anyhow you can always modify a cage I guess
Yeah I know the ad you are talking about, would still cost me £160 odd with all the door, dash and diagonal rear rails, then I have the issue of getting it to Scotland (from memory, the guy is based down south).
I would love to get my greasy lil' hands on a JDM engine, but I doubt I can push my budget that far... unless I opened up another student account and got another overdraft... but that was to fund the subframe kit whenever AMT release it... Just outta interest PM me the price, but being what it is, it'll be priced quite high. One went on Ebay for silly money... I'd want it in a rusty drivable CRX for that cash!
I was looking to try and land myself an accident damaged 1992 onwards CRX VTEC or soemthing. Cheapest way from what I've seen.

Great site! Looks like a site all potential and current 16 valvers (read VTEC) should know about.
However shame its in England - I dont have the resources to travel the 500 mile round trip to collect the parts, and I dare not think how much it would cost to deliver!!!
I've sent them a request, no harm in trying really....
cheers for the link
