whoo hoo ya buger, after six months of farting about i finaly fired up the engine today. fired first time :wink: (well after the starter motor got a beating for not engaging, and i nipped up the fuel union where the small flamable fountain appeared) no brakes and no fixed steering but couldnt resist taking it for a (very slow) spin around the units, still had the handbarake at least. to hear the sweet pur of the mighty K gives the project a whole new lease of life! i love this car!

just got to find somewhere for the alternator to go now :oops: been putting it off cos its going to be a buger of a job. starting and running all the electrics pumps and motors on a modern engine takes it out the battery! was running it for a while till the battery conked out, till tomorow...
