Hi Swiftmini,

You will need to have your pics already in web.
You can do this by either creating your own galley here and using link with Img bottun above.
So you will have then your link to pic on the web(right clic then profile)then paste like this.

0-60 wise, there are some calculator in web you can use but.....
You will be using 10 inch like myself with 4.1 diff?
Your car will be suffereing of top speed like myself.
If you like changing gear every 2 second, then you will be happy with setup.

I worked out that I will be 112mph with 4.1 diff @7.5k, but 138mph with 3.523 driff.
I'm sure I won't be able to do that sort of top speed due to house blick shape of minis but it will make nice cruiser.
I worked out 70mph is 3.8k.

Cheers
Atchi

to get your own gallery here you need to PM matt with some pics of your 16v mini build.

or you can look at hosting elsewhere like photobucket for example :)

hello, not been here in a while due to being at university, the mini has suffured big time. its been almost finished for months now.
i found some old pics i thought i would try and post.
i'm not happy with my engine mounts at the moment and i think in someplaces i may have gone over kill with the box section.
feed back would be great especially if its bad, i want my car to go in a straight line.
cheers.

Hello Miniswift

Great Job you have done. :D

I like the Alternator setup, just the way I had in plan. Graet to see it work out. Now you have room for the tubo aswell.

Did you regrind the head to fitt the tb`s? Or did you make an adapter fore them?

Keep up the good work and show us some more pics.

I'm hoping to be up and running by the summer as i'm living a good 200 miles from my garage at the moment, but i'm building a new loom from scratch while i'm away and improving my bike carb manifold. The manifold for the gsxr 750 carbs started off by using the original injection manifold and cutting off the runners, then i turned some new runners and welded them on, they only had small 25mm bores down them this is so i was able to port out the shape i wanted, a lot of work but quite effective.
Ignition is a bit of a prob, i have been ripped off by to scrap dealers both selling me mk2 and mk3 dizzys and not giving me my money back, my solution has been to make an adapter that will take an a series dizzy and just swap the drive dogs over, it works but its not ideall.

i will post lots more pics as soon as i work out how to get them onto my computer from my mobilephone.

thanks guys for very positive feedbacks. :D :D :D

Any1 done a 0-60? I guess sub 8sec

Has putting the swift engine in reduced the weight of the car by much?

How much more is the insurance compared to your old a series?

Take a look at this...dont know how acurate it is tho http://www.letstorquebhp.com/calculator.asp

Mine didn't cost anymore than when i had an a-series.

No idea on 0-60, mine felt well quick though considering i couldn't get above 5000ish rpm
