They produce some nice power, and can make a big hefty car like the 75 shift a wee bit.

I'd think the turbo would cos the most problems on the install? Any of you people who have done K installs like to comment based on those pictures of the engine?

on mine i'd have to relocate the radiator to the boot, and the turbo would stick out through the grille a fair bit. If you built a frame like Pickups, but put it in a clubman or extended roundfront, i reckon it would just about fit. at least the turbo would be just about in the middle if the car, so you could make a grille wilh a bulge in it.

on mine there is plenty of room for a turbo infront of the engine block 8) , iv tested a T3 up there as a curiosity and it fits with clerance (just) but with the 1.8T manifold i'd have to move my radiator over a touch.

because of the k-series natural tilt, and the very deep std manifold IMHO you can fit a small turbo in the space the manifold occupies, like for example the TD04 from a subaru. (about T2 sized)

no problems with room in mine - just move the seats forward a bit

Cooling could be a problem, not to mention all the extra turbo gubbins and theres an intercooler to fit in there somewhere.
Still worth a go.
