ok technically not an RS or a mini or even Bmw for that matter i just liked the title. but my project is parts from all those cars.
Take one crashed racing green mini shell a bmw 5 series rear subframe/differential a sierra front crossmember and suspension stick a few bits of boxsection in it to hold everything in place and you have it, a rwd mini with mac struts and a 2L zetec powering it :)

I like that alot. One question, why the BMW rear ena and not a sierra (to match the front)?

I'll have to get up see this in the "flesh".
What steering are you going to use?
Are the Sierra bits hidden in there somewhere?

I used the bmw back end as its the only rwd back end i could get here over in n. ireland sierras are getting very thin on the ground sadly but the ford and bmw dont differ that much in track than you would expect.

but work has been halted. had a little accident in the car this morning meaning im on the look out for a car to get to work in so funds will be low :( on the backroads on the way to work a total tw*t pulled out into the middle of the road and decided that would be a good place to stop....... ....... anyway to cut a story short my car will probably be a rite off.

And he was an American

thank god you didn't say "she was an american" LOL

funny, in my city when this happens we say "and he was Somalian"

must have more to do with not being aware of local driving customs when traveling than with your origins. sorry to hear of your accident, at least you are alright.
