If you spend a bit of time on the forum you will see that renault 5 and clio 16v, Nissan GTiR, Peugeot 1.9gti, Suzuki swift, Toyota 4age, diahatsu gtti, honda Vtec 1.6/1.8/2.0, honda non vtec, vauxhal 8v/16v/V6/etc, audi 20v turbo and probably loads more i've missed have all been or are being done. :?

An SR20 DE (turbo Converted, not the DET) with a Nissan K11 gearbox will go (goes in a Micra,)
As for a Drift Mini, FAR Too Short to compete in the UK D1! You'd get crap angles, and it would be out or in.

You'd get pineapple angles, and it would be out or in.
would have to disagree with that based on personal experience.

Well Rob, from the Bike minis Ive seen attempting to "Drift," it was a poor show, and you need to remeber, points in the D1 are gained on style, angle, speed and duration, being able to stick the arse out is all good, but hanging it out, with a large angle (Which is hard to see with the minis short wheel base,) and holding it round a sweeping bend or whatever is going to be difficult to say the least.
Look at the little AE82 Corollas the Irish used to use in the D1/ Drift competitions when UK drifting was just in its infancy

Just out of interest, who did a charade GTTi conversion (used to have a GTTi and it was a mental little buzz box).
