Doesnt this engine appear turbo'ed in the Pulsar GTiR too? Mind you suppose 200sx with rwd make more sense than the GTiR with AWD. Isn't it essentially a Skyline engine with the 2 cylinders chopped off (okay maybe not as simple as that)?

GTiR is slightly different, i THINK it has solid followers

   just realised whre id heard that engine code before...

there was a externally standard nissan micra(bubble shape, the one before the current shape) on steelies with one of them tuned to a reputed 350bhp.. ran a high 12 on the run i saw. should pull mega times if you drop one in the back of a mini, traction, weight and power

the sr20de came in a bunch of cars and is in many forms probably the most familiar of the rwd apps to you guys would be the silvia(240sx in america) but the rwd motor was never introduced in any of the american market cars. so you have to import them from japan.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v732/preve/86_1.jpg

in comes in a sr20det model which is turbo charged but the motor is ridiculosly priced at about $3000 for a complete swap where i got this swap for $700 shipped . the compression is a little higher , and if you were goign to change the turbo you might as well have bought this motor.

yeah it is goign to be nice the new motor arrived today but the oil pan was dented oops to the freight company, so i have to take care of that. i think the hardest part will be suspension.

I have a pular gtir that's about 300 bhp at the mo. The engine is an sr20det, and they're 220ish bhp standard and pretty damn fast. By comparison th the n/a sr20de engine I'd say it's definately worth the extra money. It doesn't cost too much to tune them to 300bhp which is over twice the power of an sr20de!
