has anyone had a problem with fueling on a 16v ? and if so how did you overcome it? is the standerd pump man enough to run throttle bodies?

From what I have read on Migweb the 16v 2.0lt pump is upto the job for running TB's. Richspec may know better on here as he has that setup.
I'm running the SBD uprated pump which is good for 400bhp, this should cover any mofifications I plan doing to the car in the future.

Yep, i have the standard injection fuel pump. Had no problems at all with it.

I use the standard Vaux high pressure pump on mine with very few probs. Ive used aftermarket so called ' performance' expensive pumps and had 3 failures with them so now stick by the 30 quid Vaux unit.!! ive had 1 vaux pump failure but it doesnt hurt so much at that price.

ok ill go with the std unit, silly question is it worth running the fuel pressure reg? i have a main tank that supplies a swirl pot, via a faccet red top, the swirl pot then feeds the main pump that goes to the fuel rail, the return pipe goes back to the swirl pot, and there is an overflow back into the main tank, (still with me?) so i know i have a good pressure on the system, but i was wondering if the inclusion of a fuel press reg before the fuel rail would decrese the volume of fuel to the tb's?

i have run the pressure reg's with both the 2.0 8v and 1.8 8v but neither of those were on tb's

Used to run mine with that system, but now have pump in tank setup, much more simple/less plumbing and weight.
The pressure reg needs to be in the return line with injection.
