Hi All,

Finally seem to have got the gear selection working but lost the plastic 'gromet' thingy that plugs the hole & stops oil coming out... does anybody have a spare or anyone know where to get them from?? What are they actually called??

Digital Dash... Not going down the mechanical speedo route as they need re-calibrating, does the digi dash have to be re-calibrated or like the halfords speedo I've got now does it connect to the driveshaft & work in the same way??

Heater... Got only cold air running through the car, not the best this time of year. Been told it's fairly simple to do, just a matter of running a pipe into the back of the heater... which pipe do I need to cut & run this from?

Gearstick... Anyone know if this can be shortened in anyway or can you buy a smaller one??

Cheers In Advance
Lee :)

vaux digi dash is easy enough to wire in. to reclibrate, you need to speak to dom on migweb, if anyone can do it he can.

what engine is this lot for, as maybe the haynes book for the donor car might help?

i think i posted the wiring diagram or listed some it a while ago (same as most mk2 astra dashes), if you do a search it will come up.

btw if you havent already got one, dont forget to buy a digi dash with the correct transducer for it (goes into 'box) else the speedo will be even more out. there should be plenty of info on migweb if you have time to search about it

Hi
the plastic gromet thingy you ref to is it the oil seal that the fork gear selector comes out of the box, a local firm to me does bearings and seals, all you need is the internall diameter of the hole and the thickness of the fork, cost is around 6-7 £, i have used them a few times and r quite good, nearly all oils seal have the correct dimensions printed on them.
