how's the alternator wired up?
I've got the B+ connected to the battery oviously.
but theres the hole with 2 conections divided by a "T" ( ITI ) looks kinda like this, my guess is one goes to the alternator lamp, the other goes directly to +.
but whats what?

wold be nice to know, and how can I check whats what?

Position the alternator so you are looking at the back with the main terminal at the top right and the two smaller terminals directly below.

The main terminal goes to the battery.

The small left hand terminal goes to the light. This should have a white wire with a red tracer.

The small right hand terminal goes to the main relay. This should be a black wire with a white tracer. If you are not running a main relay, this wire should go the ignation switch so it gets power when you turn the key on.

Hope this helps
