wats the going price for a 16v mini

Hi people
So wats the going price for a Vaux 16v mini , 1980 full MOT
Mine has 6 point roll cage ,the old look buckets , 3 point harness,13inch alloys, twin fuel tanks Cluby flip front , alloy Dash and door panellas,no rust could do with a respray(i did it myself)
Im only thinking about it at the momment , i like to build more than i do to drive.
Any idears on the price would be helpfull.

Hmmm hedging my bets here and being a cheeky git -

Give you my WHOLE garage full of Mini parts for it :D

1380 MED engine, a mk3 1275 S engine (its the crappier S, 70hp but made of crap metals), 1380 bare block, some old gearboxes, a few steering racks... hmm oh yeah a 1979 shell in good nick - but needs some attention.... and a 6 point cage! Heck, I'll throw my mother in - she can cook.

C'mon you guys! Let this man know what some of the valver Minis sold for, instead of being a bunch of gits.....

If I had £4-5k I would happily give you it for the car, but I havent ever seen a valver's final sale price to be honest.

Anywhere from £3k to £15k depending on spec and how well its been done, condition, etc etc - very hard to set a price on one as they're all done differently to each persons tastes - sorry I can't give much help ! :)

Fizzy - Get some pictures slapped up online and let people see it. Might make some more of the knowledgable 16v owners and builders step out of the shadows and give their opinions at possible values..... either that or you could build a decent 1380 and clear out my garage and give me your valver...

My mini is amt subframe and the rest of the goodes we all know how much that costs its very clean and mad to drive , i bet a few people have taken there new hot haches back to the garage and told the dealer there is some thing wrong with it because the could not shake a old yellow mini off there tale.
All iam looking for is a rough price i recon its worth £4k + is this about right JUST^ KNOD no one will see (i still might keep the old girl yet she gets a lot of smiles)
