Ello,
Managed to cram in a few hours on the van over the long weekend... Didn't
complete any major tasks, but moved a lot of ongoing jobs in the right
direction :-)
Seems a bit 1/2 4r5ed but does allow for parallel planning and development
of different areas of the build - well, that's my excuse !
Cockpit looks like it should be quite comfy, with a nice pair of 1/2 leather
MR2 chairs and lashings of black carpet.
Engine bay still looks like it has enough room, and is now separated from
the cockpit by a steel bulkhead with meltable polycarb window ;-)
Rear swing arms have been modified to take Scorpio callipers (Mmm vented
rear disks), big beefy Lobro CV joints and nice fat driveshafts. Shock
mountings have had to move forwards so the 250lb springs need to be replaced
with summat a tad stronger, so 500s are going on.
Also used the ram out of the engine crane to push the shell back out where
the previous butcher had deseamed it badly...
