when using the amt frame and twin 40s did anyone have to modify the bulkhead to fit the carbs in ? or does that depend on the manifold ? if so what types of manifold are people using ?(where can i get 1 and what should i expect to pay ?)
also i am still confused on the allegro outer c.vs ..... i have been told that an allegro c.v is the same as a mini/metro c.v ....so y do i need a allegro c.v to fit into the mini hub ? (was told the 1800 maxi had the difrent c.vs )

any help will would b greatfully recived

Don't know about modding the bulkhead, I don't see why you should though. My TB's are on the standard carb type manifold and its fine.

You need the Allegro 1750 outer CV, which is possibly the same as the Maxi one. I would guess the lesser (eg 1300) Allegro CV's are the same as Minis. :D

The Allegro cv is NOT the same as the maxi, the maxi ones are bigger. You MUST have the allegro 1500 or 1750 outer cv's

Also, using 40 on an xe is not a good idea, Ideally you should use 45 dcoes with 36mm chokes.
