Anyone know of any online suppliers of aerosol primers, fillers etc.. The sort of stuff halfords do, but cheaper hopefully :wink:

www.frost.co.uk do some good paints for restoration - but they're not that cheap - the 99.9% zinc weld-thru primer is good, as is the POR15 black gloopy paint in a tin - brush it on and it leaves virtually no runs - and it eats rust !!
There is a guy on eBay that sells packs of 12 and 24 aerosols quite cheap - can't remember what his id is though :(

i think red oxide should have been a genuine Bristish leyland colour to be honest!
more BL cars are painted in it than any other colour, and it would fit in with the other awful colours that BL produced in the 70's!
