Cordless eletric drill internals, if the weight is not too great.

Motability electric buggies, the type that Old Fart's bump into your heels with down the town, usually have 2 motors. 1 fitted to each rear wheel. they have a speed controller and built in charging point and they normally have 2 12v traction batteries.
If you go to a shop that does house clearance you can pick them up for next to nothing .
My Old Man's got one. He doesn't do things by half and bump peoples heels though, when a car pulled out of a driveway straight in front of him he 'T' boned it. Damage to the buggy just a scratch, damage to the Vectra just 2 new doors and loss of no claims bonus :D.
you should put a system in that and compete in the db drag racing power wheels class!!!
as for motors an controllers, ive got a device i made for my a level design tech project that can move trailers and caravans, takes 2 12v batts, and has 2 very very very powerful motors, then i built a PWM speed controller for it.
Might sell it if someone offered me enough money :p
