reduced usage

i'm going to have to cut down on attending the club site, my connection has become ridiculously slow, this post took several minutes, its probably my connection rather than the clubs site.

forums fine for me.. you know anything about computers? i cud walk you thro getin all the crap off your machine if thats the cause of the slow-ness?

thanks evo, i dont think the problem is the pc, i'm fairly competent with pc's, my system has been cleaned up, but the sites still slow, probably due to my exchange not being a new digital one, i dont even have a date from bt as to when i can get broadband.

Can't you ask BT to turn up the gain on the line, or something like that. A mate of mine was in the same position, and he reckoned doing that made a lot of difference.

Not that I know anything about computers, so I may well be talking rubbish :D

^^ yeh regardless of the exchange type they should be able to do somethign about it, possilby even more so that it IS an older exchange and they can tinker.. give em a fone, u never know.
