A friend's dad collectted junk. He had an old vacuum cleaner. I took the label off of it. It was called an 'Airways Sanitizer'. I mounted it to the hood of my Mini. One day I was watching my car from the second story window and looking at this guy eying my Mini. There was any of the other labels you normally find on a Mini. I could tell his friend was asking him what kind of car and I could also tell that he was mouthing back 'Airway Sanitizer'. That was my great laugh of the day.

WTF Matt ?!!!! Where on earth did that idea come from  :?: :!:
We found an old "Push Once" button from an old london bus to use as the start button on the wifes convertible ! Was only £2 aswell - way cheaper than the Richbrook equivalents and far more "in-keeping" !!

£120 of 38mm copper heating pipe and soldered fittings for the rear radiator ?

Double pole ON-OFF-ON 40A switches from friendly aircraft engineer (bet he didn't replace them with Lucas).

B&Q gate hinges for the flip front.

Bog chain for boot lid straps - replaced with 3 core .75A mains flex due to weight of radiator & fans.

Black fablon to cover hardboard door cards (cheaper than the sticky backed plastic from Halfwits, and no crappy weave print either!!)

Tesco plastic storage container - battery box.

Concrete garden path - used as a coarse surface grinder when removing 5mm from bottom of block

I think i'll stop now before I incriminate myself !

i've just ben posting about being a sicko, well this is apt, i have a light in my mini at the top of the dash next to the ash tray, this is to light up my chinese when i eat in the car (very often), the light illuminates my grub nicely just lke the display at the chinese itself.
the light is an oil presure warning lamp holder of an austin maxi.
