has anyone tried the denso iridium spark plugs from japan
its claimed they give an extra 5-10 bhp

wel. look how good hondas engines are, id put money on tehre standard plugs being the best avaliable for the car!

I have denso iridium spark plugs in my engine, but to be honnest i didnt run the car with the standard plugs before, so I wouldnt know what the difference is.
Actually tell a lie, I have just looked at the old ones, they were in before the car was mapped, and it was only doing 12mpg then! I put the new ones in the day I took it to Steve Grinnald - DTA mapping Guru.

As long as the plug is of the right heat range and working correctly then there should be no power to gain. New plug technology is more to do with service intervals

they reckon these plugs are good for 120000 miles!!!!!
